7075 Aluminum Round Bar High Strength And Good Stress Corrosion Control
Aluminum Round Bar 7075
is primarily used in the aerospace industry as it is the strongest Aluminumgrade. 7075 has the strength of many steels, while retaining Aluminum’s lightweight qualities and corrosion resistance.

When forging this 7075 metal, it is recommended that the temperature be set between 700 and 900 degrees F. This should then be followed by solution heat treatment. It’s not recommended for welding to be used as a joining technique, but if needed, resistance welding can be used. It’s not recommended for arc welding to be used because it can lower the metal’s corrosion resistance.
