Aluminum Alloy 3003
is a popular alloy that offers customers very good atmospheric corrosion resistance and moderate strength. Aluminum 3003 offers good machinability for aluminum alloys, though it is not heat treatable. 3003 is weldable by conventional welding methods.
Aluminum 3003 is a commercially pure aluminum with the addition of manganese. 3003 is the most widely used aluminum alloy due to it's excellent characteristics.
